Amy Johnston - Lead Instructor
Current Jamaican National Team Pitching Coach
Former Reinhardt University Pitch Coach & Clark Atlanta University Pitching Coach
Amy brings extensive pitching experience as a former collegiate athlete with a full scholarship at Chattanooga State University and Valdosta State University. She held the national record for the lowest ERA and ranked second in strikeouts nationwide. Amy expects dedication and commitment from her pitchers and requires work outside of lessons to ensure growth and skill development. She believes in setting high standards, pushing athletes to reach the next level, and fostering a shared goal of continuous improvement.
Throughout her coaching career, Amy has guided pitchers who have achieved remarkable success, including two college players who won the Women’s College World Series (D1 and D2), a professional pitcher, and numerous All-American athletes. To maintain this standard of excellence, Amy consistently raises the bar for each generation of students she coaches.
Lesson Rates: $60 per lesson or $220 for a package of 4 lessons.
Availability: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
Senior Instructor - Emily Dale
Emily has over a dozen years of pitching experience, including time at Emmanuel College, where an ankle injury unfortunately cut her playing career short. She now serves as a coach at Gilmer County High School and teaches professionally. Emily is a fierce competitor and brings deep knowledge of both pitching mechanics and the mental aspects of the game. She can teach any pitch (fast, change, knuckle, screw, rise, curve, drop, drop curve) and teach any age. She is patient and brings a wealth of knowledge to her athletes.
Private Lessons: $60 for a half-hour session or groups of three for an hour.
Availability: Friday and Sunday
Senior Instructor- Sydney Osada
Sydney Osada a former pitcher at the University of Georgia, Sydney brings both high-level playing experience and six years of coaching expertise to our group. She is a left-handed power pitcher that can teach all levels. She is wonderful at reaching kids and having them perform to a level they never thought possible. She teaches private lessons on Thursdays.
Private Lessons: $60 for a half-hour session or groups of three for an hour
Availability: Thursdays
Junior Instructors
Emma Nix- Emma is a junior instructor committed to pitch at University of North Georgia. She pitches at the highest level of the game and she is fiercely competitive. She is currently a senior at Creekview High School.
Sarah Dale- Sarah is a pitcher at Glimer County high school. She is a left-handed pitcher.
Our Junior Instructors are high school pitchers with years of experience in pitching and lessons. They teach the same mechanics and foundational skills that Amy emphasizes, making them an excellent choice for younger athletes just beginning to explore pitching without committing to the rigorous practice schedule required by our lead instructor.
ONLINE INSTRUCTOR- Amanda Fulton
Amanda Fulton brings elite-level experience and leadership to the Circle Princess team.
After an impressive freshman season pitching at Western Carolina University, Amanda continues to stand out—not only as a high-level collegiate athlete but also as a knowledgeable and passionate instructor.
She specializes in developing speed, command, change of speed, spin efficiency, and pitch strategy. But what truly sets Amanda apart is her role as a mentor. She understands the challenges young pitchers face and provides guidance to help them navigate the pressures of competitive softball.
With Amanda, your athlete gets more than a lesson—they gain a role model who’s just a message or call away for advice, support, and encouragement.
Lesson Rate: $60
Availability: Sunday but flexible (please email if Sunday doesn't work)
